Custom Orthotics in Orinda
Dr. Kevin has spent his years in practice developing a specific specialty in understanding and treating conditions that involve the feet. Even if you do not feel pain directly from your feet, pain that you have in your ankles, knees, hips and or lower back likely involve the feet.

Patients often do not understand the importance of the feet to the foundation and stability of the entire body. Dr. Kevin is an expert at understanding the body's anatomy; listening to your symptoms; examining your lower back and treating the you properly. By addressing your feet as well as other areas of your body, together we should be able to find a solution to why your pain exists or keeps returning.
Dr. Kevin has a state of the art digital foot scanner that will help to analyze what your feet look like when you are standing. Full weight bearing posture gives us the best idea of what types of stress your feet are going through and how this can relate to the pain you may be feeling in your lower body. We can see what you feet look like in full color so you can have an accurate picture of why your feet are so important to your health.

If orthotics or arch supports are something you need as a result of our examination findings and scan of your feet, we can order them. There are different types and kinds of orthotics. You may already have a pair that you obtained from another health care provider. Bring them in to me so I can check them out for you and find out if we can still use them or if another type may be better for you.
Your custom molded foot orhotics can then be made off of the scan that we produce with the computer. These are Foot Levelers, flexible, three arch orthotics. They are very comfortable and are backed by a one year money back guarantee.
Some insurance plans cover the cost or a portion of the cost of the orthotic. You can either call your insurance company directly or the staff can check your coverage for you. At most, they usually cost $300.00 out of pocket if you have to pay for them yourself. By calling the office, we can give you more information.
